Pearson Education launched ActiveTeach in Mumbai

Pearson Education has launched ‘ActiveTeach', a digital learning solution for Indian Schools, at Ramada Plaza, Mumbai. Pearson education is one of the world's largest education companies. The digital learning product was launched at a workshop "Innovation in Education". This workshop was organized by Pearson education and was conducted by Dr. G. Balasubramanian, former Director Academics, CBSE.

The ActiveTeach was launched in the presence of academicians and principals from schools in Mumbai. Some of the most prominent schools were present at the launch and the list of school begins from Bombay Scottish, R.N. Poddar, Lilavatibhai Poddar, Anandilal Podar, Witty Kids International, Dunnes Institute, SGKM International and so on.

ActiveTeach is basically the mutual effort of a team of eminent educationists, teachers, in-house editors, reputed software companies and a vast number of animators-is the future of K-12 education in India. ActiveTeach is a digital solution which goes in sync with the printed books and will bridge the gap between text books and digital learning in the classroom environment.

Pearson education has joined hands with BBC Motion gallery and has obtained ample of priceless education videos which are included throughout the "ActiveTeach" series for a real life experience. This product will give a rich, sympathetic, empowering and enlightening experience to teachers and students.

ActiveTeach has two separate formats:

• For teachers
• For students

It will be provided as a comprehensive guide for both teachers and students separately and it will be manual in use.

Currently, it will be available for students of standard 3rd to 8th and for science and English only and other subjects will be available from next year onwards.
