IBM Mainframe has a rich foundation in the field of mainframe computing. Mainframes are basically a core part of the corporate computing infrastructure. Particularly, IBM Mainframes are large computer systems that have been produced by IBM in 1952. Mainframe computers can be perfectly defined in one abbreviation i.e. RAS (reliability, availability, and serviceability).
In general, IBM Mainframe is a high performance multi user computer system, which is scalable, available, reliable and secured machine around the globe. It has the competence to execute million instructions per second (up to 569,632 MIPS).
