BHU UET 2021 exam day guidelines

National Testing Agency (NTA) is conducting the Undergraduate Entrance Test (UET) 2021 in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode as well as, Paper-Based Test (PBT) mode. Due to Covid-19 pandemic, the university has revised the exam schedule of BHU UET 2021 and, now the examination is being conducted on different days from September 28 to October 4. Candidates appearing for the entrance exam can check here exam day guidelines mentioning do’s and don’ts of the exam day.

BHU UET 2021 Exam Schedule

The first thing to note about BHU UET 2021 is that the entrance exam is held at a different schedule for all the courses. Therefore, candidates should check the exam schedule for their respective course as under:

Reporting at BHU UET 2021 Exam Centre

Candidates should reach their allotted exam centre location at least an hour before the exam timings. They should carry all the required documents including admit card as the exam centre authority will check them before allowing entry inside BHU UET 2021 test centres. Candidates will be allowed entry until 30 minutes before the exam timings. The exam centre authority may not allow entry after the exam has started.

BHU UET 2021 Admit Card

The university has issued admit card to all the candidates for appearing in BHU UET 2021. Candidates must download their admit card for BHU UET 2021 and, get printouts to carry on the exam day. On the exam day, candidates should also carry a valid ID proof along with the admit card. Moreover, candidates must not write anything unless asked by the exam centre officials.

Documents to be carried on the exam day:

Candidates must carry any of the following valid photo ID proof along with their admit card as under:

  1. Admit Card along with Self Declaration (Undertaking) downloaded from the NTA Website (a clear printout on A4 size paper) duly filled in.
  2. A simple transparent Ball Point Pen.
  3. Additional photograph, to be pasted on Attendance Sheet
  4. Personal hand sanitiser (50 ml)
  5. Personal transparent water bottle
  6. ID Proof s (must be original, valid and non-expired), viz. School Identity Card/ PAN card/ Driving Licence/ Voter ID/ Passport/ Aadhar Card (With photograph)/ Aadhar Enrolment No/ Ration Card.
  7. PwD certificate issued by the Competent Authority, if claiming the relaxation under PwD category
  8. Sugar tablets/fruits (like banana/apple/orange) in case the candidate is diabetic.

Scribe for PWD candidates

Either a candidate within the category of locomotor disability, blindness and cerebral palsy can bring his/ her own scribe to attempt the examination or request the university to provide the scribe facility.

  • Candidates have to perform the scribe related formalities such as providing the qualification proof at least 30 days before the exam date on the official website only.
  • Candidates availing scribe facility will be provided 20 minutes extra to attempt the examination.
  • In case, such candidates do no avail the scribe facility then, extra time of 20 minutes per hour will be provided to attempt the examination.

Instructions for the exam centre:

  • Avoid carrying any valuable items including, mobile phones, watch, jewellery, laptops, earphones/ headphones to the exam centre. All these items are not allowed inside the examination hall. Moreover, no facility to keep the baggage will be provided at the exam centre.
  • Candidates should avoid getting late for the examination, on the exam day it is better to each an hour early.
  • Candidates should follow the instructions provided by the exam centre official to avoid getting barred from taking the examination.
  • Candidates should avoid any unfair means of attempting the examination as any kind of cheating practice is strictly prohibited.
