CLAT 2021 is likely to be postponed by the Consortium of NLUs due to the current COVID-19 situation across the country. Check complete details below.
The CLAT Consortium in a latest notification has informed that it is monitoring the COVID-19 pandemic situation and will decide on the CLAT 2021 exam date in the first week of May. Notification on whether the CLAT exam be postponed or not will be updated on the official website of the exam.
The Consortium of NLUs has advised candidates not to get panic at this stage, as it will take all necessary measures for the exam as the situation demands.
The CLAT 2021 is currently scheduled to be held on June 13 from 2:00-4:00 PM. It may be noted that earlier, the law entrance exam was to be held on May 9 but was postponed due to the clash of the dates with CBSE board exams.
The CLAT 2021 application form filling process is underway. Candidates can fill the CLAT application form in online mode on the official website of the exam latest by April 30. The CLAT application fee is Rs 4,000 for General and OBC candidates and Rs 3,500 for SC/ST candidates. The CLAT application form was released by the Consortium of NLUs on January 1.
