Talking about his preparation strategy for CLAT exam, Rajat said, “My prep strategy for the exam was simple. First, prepare 1st and 2nd part (100 marks) of the exam. Then, prepare for 3rd part because it is too wide and includes so many subjects. My strategy also included solving objective questions as much as I could.”
Rajat further shared that he could crack the law entrance exam by studying six-seven hours daily for three-four months. He said, “I did not take any coaching for the law entrance exam. I prefer bare act but for theory I read books mainly by AK Jain and Ascent Publication. Also, to solve objective questions I referred to all LLM guides available in the market and last year question papers of CLAT, DU LLM (an entrance exam conducted by Delhi University for LLM admissions) etc.”
An extremely focused person, Rajat always considered law as his first career preference and aims at getting placed in a reputed Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) in near future.
On being asked to provide tips to current CLAT aspirants, Rajat advised that, “Students should solve objective questions as much as they can. They should follow the syllabus provided on CLAT websites and give more time to first two parts of the exam. They should also give mock tests. And apart from all this, they should never lose hope and always work hard.”
