COVID-19 Impact: NLU Delhi waives off uploading of reserved category documents in AILET 2020 application form

Due to lockdown across the country that arose out of to COVID-19 pandemic, NLU Delhi decides to waive off 'caste/ category documents' uploading in AILET 2020 online application form.

The National Law University has decided to waive off the uploading of documents required for reserved caste/ category in the application form of AILET 2020. Candidates can now complete their online application form of AILET 2020 without the documents that were required earlier. However, candidates should present the document pertaining to eligibility and revered category in original as well as, self-attested copies at the time of seat allotment through AILET 2020 counselling process. 

NLU Delhi released a notification on April 28, 2020, regarding waiving off documents uploading as under: 

The application form of AILET 2020 can be filled and submitted until May 15 as the last date has been extended due to COVID-19 lockdown. Moreover, the exam has been postponed until further notice by NLU Delhi.

The candidates who have already submitted the application form of AILET 2020 need not take any action. However, candidates who were facing trouble to get the required documents from the competent authority due to lockdown can complete now complete their application form. Candidates need not upload any acknowledgement regarding the unavailability of documents. 

Although, the candidates who already have the documents for their respective category can upload it in the online application form of AILET 2020.
