The Indian government has asked all the educational institutions to defer examinations and regular classes due to Coronavirus outbreak. The country is in a lockdown situation with the number of Coronavirus patients going up every hour. Following this, the state and national board examinations as well as, admission tests such as JEE Main, MAH MCA CET, NID DAT Mains, and recruitment exams such as RBI Assistant, AFCAT (IAF exam) have been postponed. On April 14. the Prime Minister of India, Mr Narendra Modi has announced countrywide lockdown extension until May 3, following this, the many law entrance exams are being rescheduled. In a notification dated March 19, 2020, the University Grants Commission (UGC) has asked all the universities and their affiliated colleges to postpone exams and reschedule it after March 31. It also asked the universities to provide helpline numbers and counselling to students who may suffer from anxiety due to COVID-19 pandemic.
The respective state government has ensured that all schools, universities and their affiliated colleges remain shut until March 31. Here is a list of notification released by the law schools in India taking preventive measures against Coronavirus outbreak:
West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences (WBNUJS)
Precautions for Coronavirus – WBNUJS on March 14 released a notification cancelling all events until March 31 as under:
All the NLUs accepting CLAT scores have followed the precautionary guidelines of UGC against Coronavirus outbreak. The exam schedule of CLAT 2020 has been changed due to the COVID 19.

Precautions for Coronavirus – Following UGC advisory released on March 5, NLU Delhi has taken all the precautionary measures as under:
The NLU Delhi will conduct its law entrance exam in May and, the candidates can apply for admissions year 2020-21 as per the exam schedule of AILET 2020.

Department of Law, Delhi University
Precautions for Coronavirus – The Department of Law has cancelled all regular classes in the three law campuses – Campus Law Centre, Law Centre-I and, Law Centre II until March 31. The university conducts the law entrance exam for admissions to three-year LLB course at its law centres. No change has been announced in the exam schedule of DU LLB 2020 yet.
