How to prepare for this exam and what are the things one must take care of while appearing for AILET, are a few questions that come in the mind of a student while preparing for AILET. In this article, we will discuss the preparation tips to crack AILET.
Preparation Tips for AILET
The most important thing that a student needs to focus on in the law exams is speed. This means solving maximum questions in the minimum time. This could be achieved by practising regularly.
- First of all, prepare all the topics of the exam. There might be some difference in the exam pattern every year, however, for the last 10 years, the most scoring topics are General Knowledge and Legal Aptitude. Also, these sections are less time-consuming. The time saved in this section could be used in the other sections. Hence, focus on solving all the questions of General Knowledge section and some of the questions of the Legal Aptitude section in the minimum time possible to gain a competitive advantage over the other students.
- In Legal Aptitude, students could leave the comprehension passage one to avoid wasting a huge amount of time in a single set of questions.
- Complete the syllabus one month before the scheduled exam and utilise this one month in revision including mock tests, previous years question papers and so on. Try to solve a minimum of two to three mock tests under the supervision of an experienced mentor. Take guidance from them on proper ways of solving the questions and saving time during the exam. Analyse the mistakes done in the mock tests, revise the weak topics again, and avoid making these mistakes in the next mock tests.
- Maintain a balance between preparations of board exams as well as AILET. Securing high marks in boards is important as marks of Class 12 board examination are considered for the merit list of this exam.
- The students who are preparing for AILET exam at home, they could opt for the online courses, if required. Practising previous year question papers and mock tests daily would help in scoring well in the exam.
