The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted the LLB entrance exam for the University of Delhi (DU). The exam was held as scheduled at the designated test centres in a Computer-Based Test mode. DU LLB 2022 Students Reaction and Paper Analysis
Here is what the test-takers had to say about the DU LLB 2022 difficulty level, expected cut-off and important questions asked in the exam:
Urvashi Yadav shared that the question paper of DU LLB 2022 was moderate but higher than last year. There were a lot of GK, Current Affairs and Legal Awareness and Current Affairs questions this year. The Legal section carried questions from Constitution, Amendments, Schedules of IC, Sections of IPC, Case Laws and Recent Judgements. She shared that it was a moderate level question paper, although a well prepared candidate would have found the paper easy. She added that DU LLB 2022 cutoff could be higher than the last year.

Ankit Vashisht shared that the question paper was easier than last year. The first section English had one comprehension passage and few questions based on Synonyms, Antonyms, and the section - Analytical Abilities carried elementary mathematics questions that were easy. The third section - Legal Awareness & Aptitude had Legal Maxims, Constitution, but were easy, some questions were same last year question paper. The last section GK and current affairs also had easy questions based on the ongoing events of national and international importance. One of the tricky questions were around the proposed age of girl's marriage in India. He added the expected cutoff for DU LLB 2022 is higher than last year as the difficulty level of question paper as moderate to easy.
Another candidate, Aniket, shared that the question paper of DU LLB 2022 was easy to moderate, and was mostly based Legal and GK questions. There were only a few questions from Mathematics (Analytical Abilities) and English Comprehension. There were Current Affairs questions based on Russia-Ukraine war, President of India, and Reasoning has directions, family, blood relations topics based questions. The expected cutoff for DU LLB 2022 will be similar or higher to last year, which was 218 for General category.
Vanshika Gupta shared that the question paper was easier than last year. There were no quantitive skills based questions from Reasoning or Analytical Skills. She added that only one comprehension passage was there in English section. Most of the question paper of DU LLB 2022 was based on Legal GK, Current Affairs on President of India, Ukraine-Russia War, and for Legal section, the questions were based political scenarios, constitution, High Court and Supreme Court.
Zoya, another candidates shared that the DU LLB 2022 question paper was concise and easier than last year. The question paper, especially English were of basic level. There were questions based on Legal foundations, logical reasoning etc. The expected cutoff for DU LLB 2022 is same or lower than last year.
Priyanka shared that the question paper of DU LLB 2022 was easy to moderate as there were some tricky questions in Legal section based on Judges, Case-Laws etc. The expected cutoff for CLAT 2022 is around 230 for Open category.
DU LLB 2022 Answer Key
NTA will publish the answer key of DU LLB 2022 entrance exam within next few days. First, the provisional key will be released, containing the correct answers against questions asked DU LLB 2022 question paper. Candidates will be able to candidate to their probable scores using the answer key. Moreover, the candidates will also be able to challenge the provisional key on payment of INR 200 for each question they want to claim as wrong/ incorrect/ discrepant. Then, the exam authority will review the objections received before the scheduled date. A final DU LLB 2022 answer key will be released after considering revisions. The answers (or keys) given in the final key will be considered the correct answers (officially) and cannot be challenged further.
As informed by the exam authority, "The NTA's decision on the challenges shall be final and the result will be declared on the basis of final answer keys. No grievances/ representation with regard to Answer Key(s) after declaration of result will be entertained"
DU LLB 2022 Result
Based on the final answer key, the exam authority will publish the scores of DU LLB 2022 entrance exam. Candidates will be able to check their qualifying status, merit rank and overall scores on DU website or NTA website. The results will be based on the marking scheme as under:
- 4 marks for each correct attempt.
- Deduction of 1 mark for every incorrect attempt.
- No marks awarded or deducted for an unanswered question.
The total scores of candidate will be calculated on the formula below:
DU LLB 2022 final score = Marks obtained for each correct attempt - Marks deducted for each incorrect attempt
Total marks for DU LLB question paper are 400 for all sections.

DU LLB Counselling
Once the result is out, the university will prepare merit list on the basis of categories. The counselling process of DU LLB 2022 will be held in a centralised manner as under:
- Counselling registration
- Preference entry and choice-locking by candidates
- Publishing of category-wise and law centre-wise merit list
- Seat confirm/ Float option by candidates
- Payment of fees and completion of admission formalities
