Q:   What is PU LLB Merit List Criteria 2025?

The university will prepare the merit list of LLB course admission as per the weightage below:

Q:   What is the minimum passing marks for general category candidates in AIBE 19?

A:

The minimum passing percentage for general category candidates in AIBE 19 is 45 per cent. As per the information provided, the cutoff marks for General/OBC category is 45 marks out of 100. The BCI has increased AIBE cutoff from 40 per cent to 45 per cent for general category candidates.  The AIBE cut-off marks is the minimum marks (or percentage) that candidates need to obtain in their category to clear the certification exam. 

Q:   How many candidates apply for PU LLB?

A:

The PU LLB Entrance Exam was held in 18 test centres across Chandigarh and Punjab. As many as 5,500 candidates appeard in the exam. The Selection Process is done through both Merit and Entrance Examination basis. A minimum of 50% marks is required in PU UGLAW Entrance examination to get admission here. The exam was taken for 100 questions which was taken in 2 hours and a total of 400 marks. Must mention their language choice in the OMR sheet. Since every wrong answer carried a negative marking of -0.25. Merit is calculated by taking 50% of the class +2 percentage including weights and 50% of the UGLAW Entrance test marks. You can, in private colleges you can get admission very easily. 

Q:   Who is eligible for CLAT exam?

A:

All those candidates who have passed the 10+2 examination or an equivalent examination from a recognised board with a minimum percentage of marks as specified by the participating universities are eligible to apper for CLAT 2025. Candidates who will be appearing for Class 12th exam are also allowed to appear for CLAT Exam 2025. In order to pursue LLM, it is important for candidates to have an LL.B. degree or should have completed an equivalent examination from a recognised university with a minimum percentage of marks as specified by the participating universities. 

Q:   Does NLU Delhi accept CLAT score?

A:

It does not accept CLAT for admission. NLU Delhi conducts its own All India Law Entrance Test (AILET). 

Almost 65,000 candidates appear in CLAT every year and in AILET almost 18,000 candidates appear in the exam. The exam pattern has changed since 2019, as it is now a comprehension-based exam. In that, they take tests of the reading and critical thinking abilities of the candidates AILET is an objective type test conducted to the candidates on many topics. 

The total number of seats:

  • 110 seats in BA LLB

  • 70 seats in LLM

Q:   Who is eligible to apply for PU LLB 2025?

A:

Before filling the application form for PU LLB 2025, candidates must check the PU LLB 2025 eligibility criteria. Candidates who will be applying for PU LLB 2025 should have completed graduation or an equivalent exam from a recognised university with at least 45 percent marks. SC, ST, Backward category, and PwD category will be given a 5 percent concession in connection to minimum marks. It must be noted that there is no upper age limit to apply for the PU LLB application form.

Q:   What is the process to select CLAT test city for exam centre allotment?

A:

There are over 139 cities where CLAT exam is held. These 139 cities are spread across India consist of metropolitan cities, capital cities, Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities. Candidate can select up to three cities for allotment of test centre. The process of test city selection is a part of CLAT application process. In the CLAT application form, there is a field in which candidates have to select the cities. They need to select the city of preference in order of 1 to 3. The examination authorities will try to allot the test centre in the city of first preference. Thus, candidates must fill all the THREE cities carefully. They must choose their home city of city of current residence as the first preference. The test city option can only be changed during the form correction window. After that, the request for change of the city will not be accepted by the exam authorities.

Q:   What is the AIBE 19 Minimum Passing Criteria 2024?

A:

To qualify in the AIBE 2024 exam, general category candidates need to secure 40% marks, while SC/ST candidates need 35% marks. Note that the total marks will only be known after the final answer key is released, as if any wrong questions are found then they may be rejected.
