Important dates for LLB entrance exam 2016 at Panjab University
Panjab University, Chandigarh has invited applications for admission to the 3-year LLB programme offered at its colleges. All candidates holding a bachelor’s or master’s degree in any stream from a recognised college with minimum 45% marks (40% marks for SC/ST/OBC candidates) are eligible to apply for Panjab University (PU) LLB entrance exam 2016.
The LLB entrance exam is scheduled to be conducted on June 19, 2016. The entrance test will be of 75 marks (50 marks for multiple choice questions and 25 marks subjective questions) that candidates need to complete within 90 minutes. The subjective part of the LLB entrance question paper is aimed to evaluate a candidate’s writing and communication skills as well as legal aptitude.
Admission to PU LLB programme will be based on merit. The merit list will be prepared on the basis of a candidate’s score in the LLB entrance exam (20% being the minimum qualifying marks for General category candidates and 15% being the minimum qualifying marks for SC/ST/OBC candidates).

Note: Once the application form is submitted on the official website of Panjab University, candidates will be able to generate the Bank Challan. Using the Bank Challan, candidates have to deposit the application fee (Rs 1100 for General category and Rs 550 for SC/ST/Blind category) in any branch of the State Bank of India.
