University of Calcutta LLM Entrance Exam
University of Calcutta will be conducting an entrance exam on September 15, 2013 for admission to the Master of Law (LL.M) program offered at the Faculty of Law for the academic session 2013. The duration of the program is two years.
Eligibility:
- Aspirants who have passed their B.A.LL.B (Hons.) / B.A.LL.B / LL.B (Hons.)/ LL.B. examination from the University of Calcutta or from other university recognized by the University of Calcutta at the time of admission.
- Fifty percent (50%) of the total number of seats in the 1st Year shall be reserved for B.A.LL.B (Hons.) candidates of this university { one seat is reserved for other university B.A.LL.B. (Hons.) / LL.B. (Hons.) student (1st class) according to merit}, for the remaining seats Entrance Test will be conducted.
Exam pattern:
The test will be of 100 marks comprising MCQs (Multiple Choice Questions) and subjective questions. The marks distribution is as follows:
- MCQs: 60 marks
- Subjective: 40 marks
