Review of the best college in Delhi.
Placements: There is a placement cell, but it doesn't offer placements. The placement cell is mainly for mock interviews and webinars. All students themselves intern at various places and get pre-placement offers (PPOs) to secure jobs. Usually, there are no campus placements.
Infrastructure: There is no hostel; however, students stay in various PGs and flats near the college, which are of good quality and hygiene. VIPS is famous for its infrastructure, including mirror-clad walls and a lift for students. The college is fully air-conditioned.
Faculty: The course quality depends on individual interests. The curriculum is very relevant, with many new and practical elements related to the field. The teachers are excellent, coming from various reputable law colleges.
Other: It's a very good college in Delhi, ideal for those who can't leave the city. Metro connectivity is also available, and the college has a vibrant and lively atmosphere.

Law in VIPS? Boon or Bane.
Placements: More than 30 companies visit the VIPS campus every year during the placement season. The highest package goes till 7LPA+. The average package goes above 3.25 LPA while the lowest package being about 1.8 LPA. The roles offered are obviously for lawyers.
Infrastructure: VIPS has buildings with centralized AC. The campus might not be too big but the classrooms are comfortable and nice for the students to study properly. The library provides a vast number of reference books for the students to choose and study from. The quality of canteen food meets the expectations and is actually really good.
Faculty: VIPS is affiliated with the GGSIP University. Therefore, the curriculum and the final exams are decided by the university itself. The internal examinations are not that difficult but at the same time, competitive enough. The passing percentage is 40%. .

VIPS has good infrastructure and a good environment.
Placements: The placement cell is not currently very active at VIPS. I would say there is more scope in litigation and the judiciary than in corporate jobs. There are people getting placed, but they are few. It's more common for students to find jobs outside the college on their own.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure at this college is the best. The whole campus is air-conditioned, with decent classrooms that have ample space. The canteen is a bit small, but it does its job. Parking space is also good. There is a ground, a basketball court, and a volleyball court as well.
Faculty: The teachers are well-skilled and knowledgeable in their fields; some are PhD holders too. The teaching quality is good, and they know their job. The course curriculum is updated regularly, so it's relevant to what is being taught in the classroom. Semester exams are moderately tough, and one needs to study.
Other: Events and fests are also worth seeing; it's IPU, of course, and the events are great. There are various committees and clubs where you can interact with like-minded people, so social connectivity is good.

The campus is decent with average placement.
Placements: The average package ranges between 6 to 7 LPA, with top recruiting companies including prominent law firms as well as Accenture, Wipro, and TCS. The highest package offered was 12 LPA, while the lowest was 2.4 LPA. Many students secure unpaid internships, and finding a paid internship can be quite challenging.
Infrastructure: Campus services are generally reliable, although there are occasional issues like air conditioning failures. Classrooms are well-furnished with good lighting, and the library provides a conducive environment for study. The canteen maintains high standards of food preparation and sanitation, and various indoor games are available on campus. Medical facilities offer reasonable care, but Wi-Fi is mostly accessible to faculty, with students often facing connectivity issues on their personal networks.
Faculty: The faculty members are very supportive, explaining concepts in an easy-to-understand manner. They ensure lessons are clear, making even challenging topics manageable. With their guidance, students find nothing feels impossible.

Best faculty, good infrastructure, good College I must say
Placements: I'm in 2nd year pursuing BBA LLB mostly law students go for litigation but the students got placed from the campus, got a decent package of around 5 lakh. While some even getting upto 7-8 lakhs, so placement of the campus is good regarding other courses also.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of the campus is very good. Block A is a bit old but it is still maintained very well. Block B is the law building very good and Block C is newly made and it shines. Canteen food is great overall. I guess the infrastructure, water coolers, fully air conditioned, good canteen food are there.
Faculty: The faculty of the campus is very good. I must say we can see some renowned faces at our campus teaches us with great dedication. The faculty is very much supportive and helps in any which way the can. The campus try to give as much as experience and knowledge to kids. The conduct various workshops, seminars, industrial visits, practical knowledge apart from the syllabus. Semester exam are neither soo tough nor easy I would say average.

Students also asked

Q:   Is BBA LL.B. at VIPS Delhi a good choice?

A:
{Source: BBA LL.B. students & alumni}

Based on the reviews and feedback from students and alumni, here's a summary:

Pros:

* Excellent infrastructure: The college has modern and well-maintained infrastructure, including air-conditioned classrooms, libraries, and recreational spaces.
* Knowledgeable faculty: Teachers are highly qualified, experienced, and supportive, providing individual attention to students.
* Opportunities for internships and placements: The college placement cell offers internships and placements, although the number of companies visiting the campus is limited.
* Strong alumni network: VIPS has a strong alumni network, with many successful professionals in the field of law.
* Location: The college is situated in a prime location in Delhi, with easy accessibility to public transport.

Cons:

* Limited placement opportunities: While the college claims to have a high reputation, the number of placements and salaries offered are not impressive, with some students reporting lower salaries.
* Faculty quality varies: While some teachers are excellent, others may lack enthusiasm and communication skills, affecting the overall learning experience.
* Course curriculum: Some students feel that the course curriculum focuses too much on theoretical knowledge and less on practical applications.
* No hostel facility: Students need to find their own accommodation off-campus, which can be challenging.

In conclusion:
While VIPS Delhi offers a good academic environment, modern infrastructure, and opportunities for internships and placements, its placement record leaves something to be desired. Students seeking a strong foothold in the legal profession may find the limited placement opportunities disappointing. On the other hand, those willing to invest time and effort in securing internships and networking may find the college a good starting point for their careers. Ultimately, the decision depends on individual priorities and goals.

Q:   Is it worth pursuing B.E. / B.Tech at VIPS Delhi?

A:
{Source: B.E. / B.Tech students & alumni}

Here's my attempt to answer the question "Is it worth pursuing B.E./B.Tech at VIPS Delhi?" based on the provided information:

Infrastructure: The campus infrastructure is excellent, with fully air-conditioned classrooms, modern labs, and a state-of-the-art library. While there isn't a large playground, there are separate courts for various sports and games.

Teaching Quality: Faculty members are highly qualified, with most holding PhD degrees from renowned institutions. They are knowledgeable, motivated, and willing to guide students.

Curriculum: The curriculum is relevant and industry-ready from the second year onwards. While the first year covers fundamental subjects, later years focus on more specialised topics.

Placement: Placement records are decent, although the first batch of B.Tech students hasn't yet graduated. The college has ties with several technology companies, and past batches have seen decent placements.

Student Life: Student life at VIPS Delhi is vibrant, with regular festivals, extracurricular activities, and opportunities to participate in various societies and clubs.

Value Proposition: Considering the strong infrastructure, experienced faculty, and promising placement prospects, pursuing B.E./B.Tech at VIPS Delhi appears to be a worthwhile investment.

Please note that individual responses within the text may vary, reflecting personal biases and opinions. I've aimed to synthesize the key points into a balanced and informative response.

Q:   What to do after JEE Main session 2 result?

A:

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. However, if they cannot score full marks, it is recommended that they appear for multiple mock test series for more practice.
