ACJ Entrance Exam 2016 Syllabus & Exam Pattern
Asian College of Journalism entrance exam is being conducted across 17 test cities all over India on May 15, 2016. All candidates holding a graduation degree are eligible for Asian College of Journalism (ACJ) entrance exam 2016.
Admission to ACJ is provided on the basis of a written entrance exam followed by an interview round. Candidates who will qualify the ACJ entrance test will be called for the interview round between June 1 and June 6, 2016 at ACJ. Finally, candidates qualifying the interview round will be offered admission in ACJ journalism/ media courses on June 8, 2016. Asian College of Journalism offers four PG Diploma programmes for admissions. The programmes are as follows:
• PG Diploma in Print
• PG Diploma in New Media
• PG Diploma in Television
• PG Diploma in Radio
Candidates appearing for the entrance exam must solve sample papers and prepare for questions related to English language, general knowledge (GK), and current affairs. The detailed syllabus and exam pattern for ACJ entrance exam 2016 is given below.
ACJ Entrance Exam 2016 Exam Pattern
ACJ entrance exam 2016 will be conducted in the online mode in two sessions. The morning session entrance exam question paper will contain questions related to English Language Skills that candidates need to complete in two hours duration. The afternoon session question paper will contain questions on General Knowledge & Current Affairs that candidates need to complete in 90 minutes duration.
In the afternoon session, about 65% questions will be related to current affairs and rest 35% will be related to GK. The purpose for a majority of current affair questions is to test how thoroughly candidates’ read newspaper.

ACJ Entrance Exam 2016 Syllabus
As already mentioned above, candidates need to prepare for two sessions – English and GK and Current Affairs to pass the ACJ entrance exam. The syllabus for each session is mentioned below:
• English Language Skills: In this session, candidates will be mainly evaluated on their knowledge of grammar, vocabulary, and tenses.
• General Knowledge & Current Affairs: Other than the current affair questions, in this paper questions will be asked on scientific discoveries, new media terms, economics, and Indian history.
