DU CollegesCAT Percentile Weightage
FMS Delhi50%

Apart from CAT, the performance of the candidates in Class 10, Class 12, graduation will also be considered for MBA admission.

Q:   Can I take admission to DU with 60% in Class 12?

A:

DU is considered one of the most competitive universities in India for Commerce, Science and Arts education at the undergraduate level. The university and its affiliated colleges was attracting the cream layer of crowd till the time admission was subject to Class 12 scores. While reserved category candidates still had minor chances of getting into a not-so-popular course of DU with 60% in Class 12, a General category student with 60% had no chance of getting into any good college or course at DU.

However, starting 2022, DU admission process has shifted to CUET-UG based admission process. Those with a valid score in CUET UG exam who have passed their Class 12 are eligible to take admission now. While the chances of getting into a good DU college are still low at this score, the chances of getting a seat have increased now (provided you score extremely well in CUET UG).

The college offers a BA (Hons) Journalism course. Until 2021, admissions to Lady Shri Ram College for UG courses were based on Class 12 or high school exam scores. However, from 2022 onwards, admissions are done based on the scores obtained by students in the Central University Entrance Test (CUET/ erstwhile CUCET) conducted by NTA. For PG courses, the Delhi University Entrance exam (DUET) score is taken into consideration. The category-wise seat in-take for this college is provided in the table below.
