DU introduces new course in media basics
Cluster Innovation Centre (CIC) at Delhi University (DU) will be offering students a new course in media basics in the academic session commencing in 2014. The course would adopt an interactive classroom teaching method for imparting education. Students would be awarded with a certification on successfully completing this 30-hour credit course.
Subjects that would be taught as part of this course at CIC would include environment and wildlife programming, art of video editing, sports production, social broadcasting and understanding TRPs.
The course would be taught by a team of industry experts along with CIC faculty. Brij Bakshi, who has a work experience of 30 years in the media industry, would preside over as the course director. Goura Dhawan Lal would be assisting him as the additional senior faculty for the media basics course.
All students at CIC are eligible to apply for this new course in media basics.
