Application Forms for admission to the Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC) are available on the official website of the renowned institute and students who are interested in applying for admission to the various Postgraduate (PG) Diploma courses offered at the varsity, can register and apply now online. The institute has provided ample time for students to apply online for admission. However, the application window is expected to close soon. Interested students can apply online straight away as the institute has scrapped the IIMC Entrance Exam for the 2020-21 academic year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

IIMC scrapped the IIMC Entrance Exam this year, due to the impact of COVID-19 (Coronavirus). Keeping in mind the raging cases, the institute decided to offer admission on the basis of merit, followed by online Personal Interviews (PI). Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of marks secured in their qualifying exams, followed by writing a statement of purpose.

Official dates for the last date to apply, the release of merit list, eligible candidates shortlisted for personal interviews and declaration of results will be announced soon by the institute. Here is the timeline for IIMC 2020 admissions which are as follows:

How to Apply Online for IIMC Admissions

Aspirants can go through the following steps on how to apply online for admission to IIMC which are as follows:

Step 1: The candidate first has to visit the official website of the Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC).

Step 2: Once the candidate has landed on the homepage of IIMC, the candidate has to click on ‘Admissions’.

Step 3: The candidate will come on to the ‘Notice’ page. On the left column, the candidate has to click on ‘PG Prospectus and Application Link’.

Step 4: At the bottom of the page, the aspirant has to click on ‘Online Application for PG Diploma Course’.

Step 5: ‘Click on New Registration’. A Unique Registration ID will be created. Use the ID and enter the Date of Birth (DOB) to proceed to apply for IIMC.

Step 6: Enter the personal and academic details on the IIMC application form.

Step 7: Upload the scanned images of the passport size photograph, signature and documents of applicants.

Step 8: Proceed to pay the application fee online via online mode i.e. through net banking/credit card/debit card/UPI.

Step 9: Once the payment has been made, the candidate can save the application form or keep a printout and keep for future references.
