Jamia Millia Islamia has released the first merit lists for BTech and BArch courses offered at the varsity and shortlisted students are required to appear for the counselling round along with their original documents. For both courses, the counselling dates are from October 26 to November 2, 2020, and aspirants have to visit the respective department to complete the admission formalities. A second list will be announced on November 7, 2020, if there are seats available. The varsity has announced the merit list category wise which contains their application number.

The JMI Entrance Exam is underway and will be done for 126 courses offered at the varsity. The JMI Entrance Exam commenced from October 10, 2020, onwards and will continue till November 22, 2020. Here is the schedule for JMI Entrance Exam which is as follows:

Documents Required for Counselling

Candidates who have been selected for the counselling round are required to carry their original documents.

Admit Card	Six Passport Size Photographs
Original mark sheets of qualifying examination in accordance with the eligibility criteria	Class 10/12 mark sheet for age proof
Proof of permanent address (Voter ID/Aadhad Card/Passport/Driving License)	Respective category certificate (if applicable)
For PwD students- Certificate of disability	Character certificate
Certificate from an MBBS doctor or government hospital certifying blood group	Anti-bullying affidavit
