NY Film Academy to debut in India

Are you looking for a famous and happening film institute abroad? NYFA, one of the world's leading film education institutes, will soon be opening its first full-function state-of-the-art campus in South Asia at Greater Noida. Expected to be launched in January 2013, the institute aims to provide international standards at par with the NY Campus in terms of courses offered and also the faculty, facilities and equipment available. NYFA India will offer similar courses as NYC campus in fields like Filmmaking, Acting, and Photography which will be year long or short programmes (4-8 weeks long).

Kitty Koo, vice president, NYFA said that the academy is considered a center of excellence in providing film-based education and will continue to provide best training to students. With the advent of Greater Noida campus, NYFA aims to tap the hidden talent across the Indian Subcontinent and South East Asia. To impart best possible placements and internships to students, the academy has partnered with several prominent media firms and production houses and also roped in established names from Indian Cinema for workshops and guest lectures.
