Eligibility:

There is no fixed qualification for this course. Modelling is a popular mode of entry into the acting world for eg. Aishwarya Rai, John Abraham, Priyanka Chopra to name a few. The requirements of modelling and acting are not identical but the element of a stage personality, a good sense of rhythm, being photogenic, an enticing face, poise and professionalism are some of the important traits which lead to offers of acting assignments. One thing we should keep in mind is that actors these days enter the field after doing their regular study. Most actors are very educated and have completed education till masters.

Job Prospects & Remuneration:

With increasing number of television channels there are ample opportunities for actors in mega serials, telefilms, countdown shows, reality shows and game shows. However, Bollywood is the ultimate destination for budding actors. As for remuneration, Actors don't have a fixed income. Income may vary as per the work and industry.
