Ansal University launches management programs in Real Estate, Luxury & Lifestyle, Business Analytics and Healthcare

Ansal University, Gurgaon, has invited applications for their newly launched two-year full-time post-graduate management programs in Real Estate, Luxury& Lifestyle, Business Analytics and Healthcare Management.

The university is also offering MBA programs in Marketing Management, Financial Management, Human Resources Management, Operations & IT Management and International Business Management.

Eligibilty

The eligibility criteria for the MBA programs is 50% in graduation (any stream) with valid CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ NMAT score or 60% in graduation (any stream) without CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ NMAT. Such candidates will have to appear in AUEE which will be given weightage in admission equivalent to CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ NMAT. Besides, industry based soft skill training, globally recognized value Added Certifications like Six Sigma Certification and Project Management Certification are also offered to all students of the MBA programs.

According to the institute, “Specialised two-year management courses are designed to increase the employability of students in the growing sectors of the Indian economy and will commence from the next academic year with an initial capacity of 30 students per course to maintain an adequate teacher-student ratio for focused attention.”

“Our aim is to develop employable professionals with experiential learning according to the on-job requirements. The demand for traditional MBA education has begun to deflate and the quality of education provided by the numerous mushrooming B-schools comes under the radar. Reports predict that only 10% of graduates from Indian business schools excluding those from the top 20 schools get a job straight after completing their course, compared with 54% in 2008 since most schools offer theoretical courses which lack practical skills required by the corporate sector today,” says Dr CS Nagpal, Vice-Chancellor, Ansal University

He further adds, “According to latest Global Management Education Graduate Survey report released earlier this week, with an unemployment rate of 13% as against the global average of 10%, there are more Indian management graduates unemployed this year than in the US and other parts of the world. Lack of industry or functional experience averaging at 47% is the top reason for this sorry state of affair. Specialised management programs with experiential learning, as such, are the need of the hour.”
