APICET 2016 eligibility & test centres
Candidates willing to appear for APICET 2016 need to register for the exam, and the same must be done only after checking the eligibility criteria of the exam. Applications of candidates who do not abide by the eligibility criteria will be rejected.
Shiksha brings to you a list of the eligibility criteria one must keep in mind before registering for the exam:
The candidate appearing for the exam must be an Indian National, and must satisfy the local / non-local status requirements that have been stated by the Andhra Pradesh State Educational Institutions.
For candidates other than Indian Nationals, satisfying the rules of the concerned Universities is mandatory.
The candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree in any discipline, and should have obtained 50% marks in the exam. In case of reserved category, the candidate should have secured a minimum of 45% marks in the qualifying examination.
The qualifying Degree acquired by Distance Mode Program should be jointly recognised by committee of AICTE, UGC, and DEC.
Candidates in their final year of graduation are also eligible for the exam.
The application process has already commenced, and will end on May 9, 2016 (with late fee charges). Only those candidates who register successfully for the exam, will get access to admit cards. The downloading of admit cards commenced on April 20, 2016. Candidates need to take a print out of the admit card, and carry the same to the exam hall.

Candidates must ensure that they check the eligibility criteria before filling the application form. Also, the aspirant must be extremely careful while filling in the details in the application form. The application can be rejected on the following basis:
- Incomplete application
- Incorrect data in application
- Application not in-line with the eligibility criteria stated
