APICET 2016: Preliminary answer key released

The preliminary answer key to Andhra Pradesh Integrated Common Entrance Test or APICET 2016, which was conducted on May 16 is out and can be accessed on APICET website.

The preliminary answer key will help the student tally their answers. In case of any discrepancy, the candidates can register their objection with the authorities. For that, the candidates need to send their object to the APICET convener before May 23, 2016 on these email ID convener.apicet2016@gmail, comoffice.apicet2016@gmail.com.

The final result will be announced on May 27, 2016. Once the final result is announced the shortlisted candidates will be invited for counselling session.

APICET 2016: Know how to check your result

The final shortlisting will be done on the basis of marks obtained in the written test and counselling. The selected candidates will make it to the B-schools in Andhra Pradesh. The Candidates will be given state-wide ranks in the order of merit.

The qualifying percentage of marks in the Entrance Test is 25%, however, for SC/ST candidates no minimum qualifying percentage of marks is prescribed.

APICET is conducted by Andhra University, Visakhapatnam on behalf Andhra Pradesh State Council for Higher Education.

The exam is a gateway for admission to post graduate programs in B-schools in the state of Andhra Pradesh. The candidates who qualify in APICET-2016 are also eligible for the admission into Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Open University and MBA & MCA courses offered by all State universities in distance mode.
