Prin. L. N. Welingkar Institute of Management Development & Research, Mumbai and Bangalore campuses has invited applications for admissions to the Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) courses for the session 2016. The programs offered by the institute at both the campuses are listed below:

  • PGDM (Marketing, Retail, Finance, HR, Systems, Operations)
  • PGDM e-business
  • PGDM Business Design
  • PGDM Retail Management
  • PGDM Healthcare Management
  • PGDM Rural Management (Emerging Economies)

 

Eligibility:

  • Minimum 50% in graduation
  • Should have completed graduation by June 2016
  • Should have written CAT(2015) and/or XAT(2016) and/or ATMA(2015-2016) and/or CMAT(2016) and/or MH-CET (2016) and/or GMAT (2013 onwards) (IIMs have no role in the Welingkar Institute admission Process)
  • Students in their final year of graduation can also apply.

How to Apply:

Candidates can log on to the website, www.welingkar.org and purchase the application form for Rs 1900 either online or in a physical format from Welingkar Mumbai Campus or select coaching class centers (the list for these select branches is available on the Welingkar website). After paying the application form fee, the form number and password is sent to the online form applicants through a system-generated email and applicants who have purchased the form in a physical format will receive these details in the Application Kit at the end of the guidelines book. Please save this form number and password and mention your form number in all your future communications with Welingkar.

After completing the online form, take the print of the form in a PDF format to fill out the essay questions in your handwriting. "The essays are extremely important and should clearly demonstrate the motivation to pursue the selected program, career progression as well as professional goals. After duly filling in the application form, you can courier it to Welingkar Institute of Management (WeSchool) Mumbai campus address along with your recent passport size photograph and self-attested copies of respective marksheets and certificates of SSC (Class10th), HSC (Class 12th) and Graduation, the work experience certificate and in the absence of one an Appointment letter with salary slips of last three months and the written test score cards of the applicable entrance exams received by the deadline," informed the institute.

Admissions:

Admissions are based on merit only. No discrimination is made on basis of the state from which graduation certificate is obtained. There are no reservations for linguistic minorities either.

Selection Process

Candidates will be selected based on CAT/ATMA/CMAT/XAT score cards, work experience, written test and past academic performance.

"The selection process assigns significant value to previous academic performances, extra-curricular activities, work experience, application form essay and questions, GDPI and Psychometric & Creativity tests along with the written test scores of the applicable entrance exams," informed the institute.

I cleared my b.com in 2016 however i have a back in a subject in 2nd year,1st and final year is cleared.i will be giving my back subject's exam in june 2017 and the result would be out in october 2017.will this be an issue during my admission in a bschool?
