BCG extends maximum offers at IIM Ahmedabad summer placements 2016

IIM Ahmedabad wrapped up summer placements for Post Graduate Programme (PGP), 2017 batch. The recruitment cycle completed successfully with students being placed at across various sectors and domains. The summer placement process was spread across three clusters in November that follows the Indian Placement Reporting Standards (IPRS), wherein the placement report is audited from an external auditor.

 

More than 110 firms, placing 375 students have been reported to have participated in the placement process. The highest offers were seen from the consulting sector with 103 internship offers. Among the top recruiters, names like Boston Consulting Group, Aditya Birla Group, Accenture Strategy, McKinsey & Co, Amazon, Goldman Sachs, and Bain &Co made double-digit offers.

The maximum internship offers were made by BCG, followed by Aditya Birla making top offer in in general management, Amazon making maximum offers in technology, and Goldman Sachs extended maximum offers in global investment banking. Out of the total number of students in the batch, 17 students decided to work as entrepreneurs under the mentorship and supervision of CIIE (Centre for Innovation, Incubation and Entrepreneurship).
