BHU invites applications for MBA programme 2014

Faculty of Management Studies (FMS) at Varanasi’s Banaras Hindu University (BHU) has invited applications for its two-year full time MBA programme, commencing in 2014. Admissions into these programmes will be conducted on the basis of the candidate’s CAT 2013 scores. Last date to send the applications for admission into these MBA programmes is January 20, 2014.

The MBA programmes on offer are MBA in International Business (IB) and MBA with specialization in the field of marketing, human resource management (HR), finance, operations management and information technology (IT). FMS is offering 46 seats each in both these MBA programmes.

Admission process
Candidates will be selected for the MBA and MBA IB programmes at FMS on the basis of merit list which is prepared as per the following criteria wherein- 50% weightage is given to CAT, 20% weightage to a candidate’s academic record and 30% marks are allotted to their performance in GD (Group Discussion) and PI (Personal Interview).

For candidates who are appearing in the qualifying examination, the percentage score of two years or three years excluding the final year score shall be taken, to calculate the candidate’s academic records in the qualifying examination.

How to apply
Interested candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria can download their application forms from BHU’s official website and send it along with the relevant document and a Bank Draft/ Bankers Cheque (of value Rs. 1000 for general category students and Rs. 650 for students of the SC/ST category) drawn in favour of “The Registrar, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi payable at SBI BHU Main Branch (Code No. 0211) on all working days between 11.00 a.m. and 2.00 p.m. The last date to submit the application forms is January 20, 2013.
