CAT 2014 Analysis for QA & DI

Quantitative Ability section had about 34-35 questions. About 15 questions were easy, 15 moderate and four difficult. Questions were from geometry, number systems, trigonometry, time and work, time and distance, etc.

Like CAT 2014 first slot, DI had four sets with four questions each. Topics: set theory, game-based set. DI section had moderate difficulty level but time consuming.

CAT 2014 Analysis for VA & AR

Verbal Ability topics included Critical Reasoning, Parajumbles, odd one out, Grammar and Critical Reasoning. In Reading Comprehension, there were four passages with 16 questions -- moderately dense passages. Questions were easy. Overall, the section was easy to moderate.

AR had moderate to difficult levels with four sets of four questions each. The general time consumption is 6-8 minutes per set.
