CAT 2014: How to register online
CAT 2014 registration link has now been activated. Candidates aspiring to appear for CAT 2014 can register via three step registration process on the official website. The last date for registration is September 30, 2014.
To facilitate applicants with detailed information about registration process, the students are provided with a video and PDF file on the website. The video and PDF file are answers for all queries of applicants.
This year, only online applications will be accepted (Offline vouchers for registration have been discontinued).
The three step registration process involves – registration, logging and filling the application form. Once registered, applicants have to log in to the official website to fill the application form.
There are some important things that candidates should collate during registration process. Candidates should get these things ready and then register themselves.

Important Points for Registration
1. It is advisable that candidates should read instructions before registration and filling up the application form.
2. It is mandatory for all candidates to have a mobile number and an email ID, prior to registration as it will be used for important communications by CAT Center 2014.
3. Candidates should gather all the information beforehand for filling the form, such as:
-Educational history
-Mark sheets (10th/12th/Degree/Diploma)
-Work experience
-Applicable Certificates to upload
-Scanned images of your passport photo and signature
4. Make a list of the IIM programmes to which you are applying. (You can apply to 19 new IIMs now!)
5. It is mandatory for candidates belonging to NC-OBC, SC, ST or PWD/DA Category to download the form of same from the website and upload the duly filled-form with self-attestation and signs of appropriate authorities as a PDF document.
6. The application fee of Rs 1600 (Rs 800 for SC/ST/PWD) can be paid either through Debit/Credit cards or through Net Banking. Additional charges are applicable on the final amount.
7. For any further queries candidates can call at Candidate Help Desk – 1800-2100-151.
“The CAT application data is treated as final and no change in it is permitted at a later stage. In case of detection of any variation in the data provided at any stage with the actual data your candidature may be nullified. Originals of all mark sheets will be required at the time of interview,” informs the official notice.
