CAT 2015 Application Process

CAT 2015 registration process will commence on August 6 and continue till September 30, 2015.

CAT 2015 Notification has already been released on Sunday, July 26, 2015. The registration window will commence a few days after that.

According to information available, CAT 2015 exam will be conducted in 135 cities. Details about CAT 2015 Test Pattern has also been released. Candidates need to attempt 100 questions in 180 minutes. Some direct type on screen questions have also been introduced.

 

CAT 2015 Application Procedure (tentative):

• All application will be conducted in online mode. Complete online registration process for CAT was introduced by IIM Indore last year. 
• Candidates will have to fill up the required details on official website of IIM CAT. 
• Candidates will have the option to select upto four test cities. Like last year, there should not be any rush in the initial registration days for blocking their slots and sites.
• Since offline Vouchers are no more available, candidates will have to make Registration fee payment through online modes – Credit Card, Debit Card and Net Banking.

Test Fee:

The fee is Rs 1600 for General and NC-OBC Candidates and Rs 800 for SC/ST/PWD (DA) category.

 

In case candidates enter wrong information, "You may select “Existing User Login” on CAT website to make changes to your personal details, such as address, educational information or exam city preferences. For security reasons, editing of candidate’s full name, date of birth, email id, mobile no, State and Country will not be allowed. However, if you have genuinely made a mistake in entering your Date Of Birth, State, etc., you will have to show evidence of the correct data at the time of examination/interview/admission else your candidature will be nullified," informed the website.
