CAT 2015 topper Chiraj Jha is a playwright and football enthusiast
Mumbai-based Chiraj Jha is a happy guy today. Armed with 100 percentile in CAT 2015 and a job offer from Hindustan Unilever, he has too many options to choose from.
“I definitely want to pursue my MBA. But, currently I have three options. First is to work with HUL, since they have offered me a wonderful profile. Second is to pursue MBA from the top IIMs. And third is opting for a deferred admission at one of the leading IIMs. I am still undecided and discussing the course of action with my peer and seniors,” says Jha.

A final year student of Chemical Engineering at IIT Bombay, Jha started CAT preparation in August 2015 – mere four months before the big day.
“I was interning with HUL in UK and came back to India in August. Hence I had very little time to prepare. Initially, I went through all the core subjects and started practicing DI, LR and QA sections. In final two months, I attempted as many as 40 mocks and kept analyzing them. I also gave pretty hard mocks tests, especially in DI and LR. Post the CAT 2015 exam, everyone complained about difficult Di and LR sections. Since I was used to difficult DI-LR during mocks, it felt like regular stuff to me,” he says.

A football enthusiast, he loves music and was a part of Mood Indigo at IIT Bombay.
