CMAT 2016 application process commences today, November 3, 2015 and will continue till December 10, 2015. The admit card can be downloaded from January 5, 2016, onwards and the exam will be conducted on January 17, 2016. Conducted by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), the Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) is a national level computer-based entrance examination.

This three-hour online test is spread across four segments:

• Logical Reasoning
• Quantitative Technique
• General Awareness
• Language Comprehension.

This single session helps in evaluating the candidate’s ability, which further enables MBA institutes to enrol suitable graduate candidates to various management programs.

Payment Process:

Aspirants can process their payment via two modes:
• Online Payment
• Cash Payment

Online Payment
• Select the online payment mode and proceed with the payment using your Credit Card/ Debit Card or Net Banking.
• Once successful, a confirmation e-mail and SMS will be sent to the candidate – the remaining part of the registration process can be continued.

Cash Payment
• By selecting the cash payment option, you can pay Cash at any of the designated SBI bank branch.
• On proceeding with this option, a CHALLAN will appear on your screen. It is to be noted that your details will already be filled in the same.
• Take three print out copies of this CHALLAN and fill in the requisite details (if required) in all the copies.
• Walk in to your nearest SBI bank branch with the required cash only on the next day of generation of Challan, i.e. the day after you print the CHALLAN. Attention must be paid to the fact that cash deposit will only be accepted from the next day of Challan generation.

Note: December 11, 2015 is the last date to pay cash in bank, and from this date onwards, the registration needs to be completed by December 13, 2015. Final application after payment CANNOT be submitted after December 13, 2015.

CMAT 2016 Exam: Eligibility Criteria

• The applicant must be a citizen of India
• CMAT exam can be attempted graduates in any discipline
• Students of Graduate Courses (10+2+3) final year, expecting their results before the admission for academic year 2016-17 are also eligible for the exam
