Department of Management Studies, NIT Trichy to begin applications for MBA programme on January 10

The last date to apply is February 8, 2020. Candidates will be selected on the basis of CAT score only.

Department of Management Studies, National Institute of Technology Tiruchirapalli (NIT Trichy) will begin the online applications for its MBA programme on January 10, 2020. Eligible candidates can apply online for MBA admissions 2020 at NIT Trichy before February 8. The link to apply has been provided below.

Selection of candidates for MBA programe at NIT Trichy will be done on the basis of CAT 2019 score who will be required to attend the Group Discussion and Personal Interview at Chennai/ Delhi/ Hyderabad/ Kolkata/ Tiruchirappalli/ Mumbai centre.

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must meet the minimum eligibility requirements listed below before they begin to apply for admission.

• Candidates must have cleared graduation from a recognized university in any discipline
• They should have secured a minimum aggregate score of 6.5 CGPA (on a 10-point scale) or 60 per cent for OC/OBC and 6.0 CGPA (on a 10-point scale) or 55 per cent in case of SC/ST candidates in the qualifying degree. For PWD candidates, the eligibility criterion will apply to the category they belong to (OC/OBC/SC/ST)
• In case, the result of qualifying degree is awaited, provisional admission is permitted subject to meeting above minimum academic requirements latest by September 15, 2020
• If in case the Degree Certificate is not issued by the concerned university at the time of GD/PI process, the applicants can produce the Provisional Certificate/Appearing Certificate
• Candidates appearing for their final year degree examination are also eligible to apply for programme
• Those with degrees of five-year integrated course are also eligible to apply
• Candidates must have appeared for CAT 2019

Here’s how to apply:

• Visit the official website at nitt.edu or nittmbaadmission.in
• Click on ‘New Registration’
• Enter the CAT 2019 registration ID as the login ID and email ID
• Fill in the other required details and submit
• Candidates will receive a mail on the registered email ID to remit the application fee
• Take a screenshot of the transaction
• Now, log in again as ‘Existing User’ by entering the CAT Registration ID and chosen password
• Upload the required screenshot and submit. A confirmation mail will be sent on the registered ID in 3-4 days.
• After receiving the mail, candidates will be required to log in again on the website and fill in the required details
• Select a centre for GD/PI and submit details
• Take 2-3 printouts of the Registration Form

For OC/OC-EWS/OBC category	Rs 1550 (excluding bank charges)
For SC/ST category	Rs 1050 (excluding bank charges)

It is important to note that candidates who apply under OC-EWS category must present their EWS certificate while for those applying under OBC category, OBC certificate is mandatory.
