Program pedagogy: The objective of the Executive MBA at XLRI is to offer the opportunity for the participants to earn a professional degree in management when they are still working with an organisation. XLRI offers an Executive Diploma in Human Resource Management for working executives, a programme which was started in 2005. The ultimate aim of the program is to offer an opportunity to candidates to study and earn an executive diploma in human resource management without getting their career interrupted. There is 50 days of intensive learning at the XLRI campus in five visits. The course is project-based and includes lecture series, group work, lecture series, assignment, and dissertation.

The duration of the course is about 16 months, term-1 to term-5 are for contact classes and term-6 is for dissertation. Each of this term consists of 12 sessions of 90 minutes each. The program incorporates a dissertation and will be initiated in the fourth term and gets completed by the end of the sixth term.

Eligibility: The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor’s degree from a recognised university in any discipline and have five years of full-time post-degree experience at managerial positions. The candidates who satisfy this eligibility criteria will be shortlisted and called for interview either personally or over skype. The final selection of the candidates will be based on their performance in the interview.

Program fees: The programme for 2019 is expected to start in November. The fee for this course will be Rs 4.1 lakh excluding service tax. Travel, boarding and lodging expenses are all to be borne by the students.

Executive MBA from SP Jain

The Executive MBA at SP Jain is a fully online part-time MBA that is designed for middle and upper-level professionals, who wish to home their leadership and business skills. The course material will be delivered online with the help of the SP Jain’s innovative and engaged learning online technology. The candidates will graduate with an Australian degree at the end of the course.
