Time-management, memory mapping, giving yourself time to unwind and continuous practice are some of the key strategies to follow while preparing for CAT exam. It will lead to enhancement in your performance on the D-day.

There are many things to focus on in the last month. Below are a few:

-> Time Management - make a proper schedule according to your priorities. Do not copy others’ routine. Do not forget to add some breaks of 5 min in your schedule in a gap of 45 or 60 min and after 3-4 small breaks, add 10 to 15 min break. In these breaks, you do whatever you want to do but not related to studies.

-> Lots of practice - Practice is the key to success! Therefore, practice more and try to include every topic.

-> Giving mock tests are very important in competitive exams. I recommend purchasing the best test series in which several students from different regions join in. Therefore, you can analyze your standing and the topic you should focus on.

-> Memory mapping - Memory mapping is a concept in which you remember things in your own way. Therefore, during learning, make your notes in your own way, which will help you recall all the concepts you learned at the time of making notes

-> Solving previous years’ question papers - It is also an important aspect of preparing for an exam. It gives you an idea of what type of questions are asked and the difficulty level. If you can solve these papers then you get motivated and excited to do more hard work.

-> Skiptime consuming questions - As this is the last month’s strategy, therefore, if you find trouble in solving some type of problems and it takes more time, just skip it and focus on the remaining parts.

-> Do not panic if your syllabus is not complete yet – If you have completed 80% of your syllabus, it is enough to crack the exam. If you think, “My syllabus did not complete yet and I have not time to revise”, then leave the remaining syllabus and do revision and practice

->Enough sleep/take care of health – During the last month of the exam, most of the students get demotivated or depressed because of the pressure of parents or society. They think their friends have completed their syllabus and they have not. It makes them stay up all night causing bad health. Hence, you should take enough sleep and take care of your health. Therefore, do not worry, be calm and have patience.

-> Talk to your friends or parents - When you feel low thinking you cannot do this, then talk to your friends, teachers or anyone who motivates you and listens to you.. Listen to music and walk 5 to 10 minutes in an open environment, It will refresh you.

-> Do meditation /Yoga – Do meditation or practice yoga every morning. This will improve your focus and increase your memory.

Last-minute tips to crack the exam:-

-> Believe in your self

-> Revise your notes

-> Do not learn anything new

-> Practice mock test
