IIM Bangalore final placements: Consultancy firms dominate
IIM Bangalore wraps up final placements
IIM Bangalore wrapped up the final placements for PGP batch of 2014-16. The placement drive saw participation from reputed companies across numerous sectors. The placement process concluded within five interview slots that were held for half a day each day.
This year, the placement process saw participation from 409 students and 160 companies who made more than 450 offers. The number of Pre-Placement Offers (PPOs) was 139 – these offers were made to the students before the Final Placements commenced, and were based on their Summer Internship performance.
Candidates having a work experience of more than 22 months grabbed around 136 offers. The offers were made in various domains like Consulting, General Management, Product Management, Business Leadership, Category Management, and Operations. Also, 18 students grabbed international placement offers. Two students having pre-placement offers did not opt for the same to continue their entrepreneurial endeavor.
