The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcutta has announced shortlisting of candidates for its PGP program for the batch of 2016-18.

The complete admission process will comprise of two stages:

  • Shortlisting of candidates for WAT/PI round
  • Finalising candidates once the WAT/PI round is over.

 

CAT 2015 results have been declared.

Shiksha filed an RTI response to know the minimum CAT cut-off at IIM Calcutta for general candidates. The overall cut-off was as follows:

Shortlisting criteria for PGP 

This year’s shortlisting criteria saw numerous changes as compared to last year. The changes in the shortlisting criteria of IIM Calcutta is as follows:

  • During the shortlisting stage, the weightage given to CAT score has been lowered to 67 points. Earlier, this was 77 points.
  • Earlier, class 10 and 12 performance was given a weightage of 10 points. This has now been increased to 15 points.
  • The weightage given to academic diversity at bachelor degree, earlier was 2 points. Now it is 3 points.
  • The weightage given to academic diversity at PG level has now been removed completely. Until last year, weightage of 1 point was given to the same. 

CAT 2015: Understand the shortlisting criteria of all IIMs

Stage 1

Candidates satisfying the minimum CAT 2015 percentiles will be considered for further selection. The candidates must fulfill the below mentioned criteria:
