IIM-Calcutta ranked No. 1 in Finance, No. 2 in Economics: FT Global Rankings 2013
After making it to the top 20 list of Financial Times’ Global Masters in Management B-School 2013 rankings, Indian Institute of Management-Calcutta (IIM-C) has reached the top spot in finance and clinched the second place for its economics course among the world's 70 leading business schools that offer masters in management programme.
According to a statement released by the institute, IIM-C has been hailed as the best in comparison with the subject finance taught at other B-schools, according to the Financial Times Global Masters in Management 2013 survey. Click here to see the chart.
The rankings are based on career status of alumni after three years of completing graduation. "We believe that these rankings come as a recognition of overall quality of our post-graduate programmes and performance of our alumni after they pass out from IIM-Calcutta," said Professor Ashok Banerjee, dean of new initiatives and external relations, in-charge of the ranking matters at IIM-Calcutta.
