IIM Indore final placement 2015: 93 PPOs offered; up by 52%

IIM Indore has wrapped up final placements for the batch of 2013-15. About 508 participants (including Mumbai Campus) were given offers from 130 companies, including 42 first time recruiters.

A total of 93 PPOs were offered, up by 52% last year. The highest domestic package offered is Rs 35 lakhs per annum (LPA) while the highest international package offered is Rs 43.6 lpa. The average compensation at Indore Campus was Rs 14.3 lpa while the overall average compensation (including Mumbai Campus) was Rs 13.9 lpa, an increase of 14%.

Nearly 26% of the batch received offers in finance sector. This was followed by sales and marketing - 24%, consulting - 23%, general management - 11%, IT/ITes - 9% and operations & HR - 7%.

Firms like Deutsche Bank, Goldman Sachs, J.P. Morgan and Royal Bank of Scotland together rolled out more than 40 offers. E-commerce firms hired for Analytics, Operations and General Management roles.

The participants have also shown commendable enthusiasm in opting for roles in emerging sectors like E-commerce and Analytics.” 

 Placement reports of IIM Bangalore, IIM Shillong, IIM Kozhikode, IIM Lucknow and IIM Ahmedabad (in process) for the batch 2013-15 have already been released.
