IIM Raipur final placements 2015: 7 students bag international profiles
The final placement process of Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Raipur’s flagship Post Graduate Programme in Management for the batch 2013-15 witnessed 100% placements, with 115 offering niche roles in various domains.
Out of the total number of students of the batch, 12 students received Pre-Placement Offers/ Pre-Placement Interviews on the basis of their performance during their internship period. Top recruiters were Accenture, Deloitte, Cognizant, DS Group, HDFC bank, Future Group, ICICI Prudential, L&T, Idea Cellular, L&T Finance, SBI, Motilal Oswal, Times Group, Wipro, Virtusa, Zamil Steel and more.
The highest number of students were picked by Accenture, Cognizant, Bharat Forge, SBI, Deloitte and Wipro for recruitment at niche profiles. Companies like Cognizant, Deloitte, RetailOn, Infosys BPO, Times Group, JSPL and Wipro placed 39 lateral placement offers for profiles such as Business Analytics, IT Consulting, Defence Consulting, Sales & Marketing, Leadership Profile, etc.
As always, Marketing was the most chosen domain with 42% of the batch opting for it, followed by Operations & General Management roles - 25% and Consulting roles - 17%.
Looking at the sectorial overview of recruiters making offers, about 22% of the students bagged positions in consulting sector making it as one of the biggest recruiter followed by BFSI with 18% of the offers further followed by IT/ ITES and Manufacturing with 16% of offers by each sector.
