Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ranchi saw 100% placement for the PGDM batch 2013-15. Students in the batch received highest International salary at Rs 55 Lakh per annum. While the highest domestic salary offered is Rs 27 lakh per annum. The average salary of the batch stood at Rs 13.4 lakh per annum.

In total, 152 students, the largest placement batch in the history of IIM Ranchi, successfully cleared PGDM this year. Of the 152 students, 14 students were offered with lateral placement, 24 students were offered Pre-Placement Offers (PPOs)/ Pre-Placement Interviews (PPIs), two students opted out of the placement process and the rest 111 students were picked up from the campus by the recruiters.

A total of 106 companies participated to recruit students of which 45 companies were the first time recruiters at the campus.

Considering the choice of the students, General management emerged to be the most chosen domain with 24% students opting for it. About 20% of the students chose consulting domain followed by 16% opting for finance, 15% opting each for Sales & Marketing and Technology and 5% chose Operations and Analytics each.
