IIM Rohtak shortlisting criteria for PGP batch 2016-18
Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Rohtak is yet to issue the shortlisting criteria for its flagship course two-year for Post Graduate Program in Management (PGP) batch of 2016-18. The approximate batch size till 2015 was 150-160.

Let’s take a look at the shortlist criteria of IIM Rohtak last year:
The admission process of IIM-R consisted of the following:
(a) CAT scores
(b) Shortlisting for Personal Appearance (PA) process
(c) Conducting the PA process composed of Personal Interview (PI) and Written Analysis (WA) along with other factors
(d) Preparing the Final Selection List (FSL) based on CAT score, PA score and profile score including Work Experience (WE) score as assessed during the PA process, score for Past Academic Performance (PAP) and any other criterion included.
A. Criteria for Shortlisting for PA Process
In the first stage, candidates were shortlisted based on minimum cut-offs and marks in X, XII and Under-Graduate (UG). To know more, view it here.
Candidates, fulfilling all required criteria, the following (weightage) scores as reflected in the table below was calculated.

“To ensure gender diversity, female candidates will be assigned a grace score of 30. Similarly, to ensure subject diversity, candidates having a non-engineering background at graduation will be assigned a grace score of 30,” states IIM Rohtak.
“The eligible candidates are then ranked on the basis of their actual Grand Total Score (out of 600) and top specified number will be called for the PA process above a required percentile,” it further states.
Shortlisted candidates then appeared for the WAT and PI rounds of the Common Admission Procedure of the 6 new IIMs.
Preparing Final Shortlisted Candidates (FSL)
“A weight of 50% will be assigned to CAT Total Score (Scaled to 100). The following scores or weights are assigned during the PA process: PI and WA 30; and WE, PAP and any other component that may be included 20. Minimum cut off may be applied to PA components,” states the official website.
