IIM Shillong releases admission criteria for PGP batch 2016-18

Rajiv Gandhi Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Shillong has released the shortlisting criteria for its flagship course two-year for Post Graduate Program in Management (PGP) batch of 2016-18.
This year too, IIM Shillong has a two-phase selection process:
- First phase, a short list of candidates would be declared for the Writing Skills Assessment Test (WSAT) and Personal Interview (PI)
- In the second phase a final merit list will be prepared based on which admission to the PGP (2016-18) batch will be offered.
Stage 1
In the first stage, candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of CAT scores (overall and sectional), Class 10, Class 12 and graudation marks. The institute has released a minimum cut-off list for each category.
Based on the performance specifications, candidates will be shorltisted in to Seven Academic Categories. From each Academic Category, a certain percentage of candidates would be shortlisted for WSAT and PI.

Stage 2
In the second stage, shortlisted candidates will have to appear Personal Interview (PI) and WSAT.
