IIM Shillong summer placements for class of 2016: 25% increment in stipend

 

IIM Shillong wrapped up the summer placements of the academic batch 2015-2016.  The total number of participating companies was 61, and the total number of offers made across different domains was 174.

This year, the highest stipend offered was INR 1,60,000 in Sales & Marketing – this is an increase of 25% from the previous year. Among the prominent recruiters, there was participation from big names like Tolaram Group, TATA Motors, Wipro, Sapient Global Markets, to name a few.

IIM Trichy wraps up summer placements

The largest offers were made by Ratnakar Bank Ltd. (9 offers), and TATA Steel (8 offers). 30% offers were made in Sales & Marketing, 22% in Finance. Also, this year a 100% increase in the number of offers was seen from the Manufacturing/Retail and FMCG companies.
