IIM Sirmaur cancels GD PI process for PGP batch 2016-18

The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Sirmaur, Himachal Pradesh, will not conduct any Group Discussion (GD) or Personal Interview (PI). Candidates will have to express interest in the PGP course in the first week of May, following which a shortlist will be created.

According to a notice on the official website, “There will be no GD/PI for admission to IIM Sirmaur this year. Please refer to the admission policy document of IIM Sirmaur. IIM Sirmaur will ask for expression of interest in the first week May 2016, after which merit list will be prepared as per the guidelines stated in the admission policy document.”

 

First, candidates will be shortlisted on the basis following cut-offs:

Next, a merit list will be created on the basis of following criteria:

Total	50

  

The final shortlist will be created on the following basis:

Grand Total (B) = Shortlist Total (A) * 2,

where Grand Total (B) will be used to rank the candidates according to their merit.

 

IIM Sirmaur is currently being mentored by IIM Lucknow. The temporary campus of the institute is at Himachal Institute of Technology, Paonta Sahib, Sirmaur.

The tuition fees for IIM Sirmaur is around Rs 10 lakhs.

In 2015, the institute had a batch size of 60 students (28 seats for general, 16 for non-creamy OBC, 9 for SC / ST).
