The Kirloskar Group established Kirloskar Institute of Advanced Management Studies (KIAMS) in 1991 at Harihar, Karnataka with the launch of Management Development Programme (MDP). It introduced the two-year fully residential Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) programme in 1998 and opened its second campus in Pune in 2010.
