KMAT 2016 July held successfully, results to be declared next week
The second edition of Karnataka Management Aptitude Test or KMAT was conducted successfully on July 24, 2016. The pen-and-pencil paper test was held at various test centres across the country.
The question paper carried 120 multiple choice questions from Verbal Reading and Comprehension, Logical Reasoning and Quantitative Ability.
The results for the same will be declared on July 30, 2016. Candidates who shall clear the exam will be eligible for admissions to MBA course in various Karnataka colleges.
Organising body, Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges Association, will conduct the same test for the last time this year on September 11, 2016 registrations for which have started from today.
Those who wish to appear for KMAT to secure a seat in one of Karnataka's management institutes, this is their last chance in 2016.
KMAT is held thrice in a year. The first exam (pen-and-pencil paper mode) was held on May 29 and the second (pen-and-pencil paper mode) on July 24.
Candidates who will make it to the merit list, will be invited for selection cum counselling process by various colleges of Karnataka according to their respective cut-offs. Admission will be offered on the basis of the candidates' performance in the test and during counselling.
More than 150 colleges across the state accept KMAT scores. Colleges accepting KMAT scores include, Acharya Institute of Management and Sciences (AIMS), Alliance University, IFIM Business School, MP Birla Institute, M S Ramaiah, Mount Carmel, PESIT among others.
