The first slot of MAH CET 2021 for MBA/MMS exam was conducted on September 16, 17 and 18. All the three slots of MAH CET 2021 exam were of moderate difficulty level. This year, the question paper of MAH CET exam was jumbled, which means there were no separate sections. All the questions from Abstract Reasoning, Logical Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude and Verbal Ability were listed in no particular order. As per the MAH CET 2021 analysis, the exam was easy to moderate. Experts suggest, 170 to 175 out of 200 questions will be considered a good attempt in MAH CET 2021 MBA/MMS Slot 1 and about 160 correct attempts will be considered good in Slot 2. In the question paper of Slot 3, 170-180 correct attempts will be considered good.
MAH CET 2021 Exam Analysis Slot 1 (Sept 16)
As mentioned above, the MAH CET 2021 paper was not divided into four different sets unlike the last five years. This is the first time after 2016, that the MAH CET question paper has jumbled questions. This was a major surprise for the test takers as they did not have the luxury of solving the easiest section first. MAH CET 2021 Analysis: Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension
The VARC section of MAH CET 2021 Slot 1 question paper had approximately 45 to 50 questions. There were more Vocabulary and Verbal Ability questions than Reading Comprehension questions. The number of RC passages were more this year but the number of questions were same as previous years. There were four RC passages with 15-17 questions. All RC questions were inference-based.
In Verbal Ability, about six to eight questions were on Grammar in spot the error format.
Apart from that, there were two questions on parajumble. The vocabulary questions were mostly synonym and antonym based.

MAH CET 2021 Analysis: Quantitative Aptitude
In the Quantitative Aptitude section of MAH CET 2021 Slot 1, there were about 50 questions. This section was dominated by Arithmetic and surprisingly, there was no Data Interpretation question. There were no questions on Quantitative Comparison, Approximations and Data Sufficiency, either.
In Arithmetic, the questions were from Percentages, Simple & Compound Interest, Time & Work, Time-Speed-Distance, Averages, Ratio-Proportion and Mixtures & Alligations.
Some questions were on Numbers (factors & multiples and surds), Geometry (mensuration and circles), Modern Mathematics (Logarithms, Probability, AP-GP) and Algebra (questions). There were about five standalone questions on Number Series too.
Overall, the Quantitative Aptitude section of MAH CET 2021 MBA/MMS Slot 1 was easy. Give below is the topic wise break up:

MAH CET 2021 Analysis: Abstract Reasoning & Logical Reasoning
Abstract Reasoning
In the Abstract Reasoning section of MAH CET 2021 Slot 1, there were about 25 questions on series completion, analogies and odd man out, paper folding, etc. The section was easy and could be attempted within the time limit.
Logical Reasoning
In the Logical Reasoning section of MAH CET 2021 Slot 1, there were 50-55 questions on Non-Verbal Reasoning and about 20 questions on Verbal Reasoning.
About 40 Non-Verbal Reasoning questions were set based - eight sets of five questions each. Rest 15 were standalone questions on directions, letter coding and puzzles. This year, the Logical Reasoning section of MAH CET had no Sequential Output or Selection Criteria questions.
In Verbal Reasoning, there were about 19 to 20 questions based on Analogies and Syllogisms, Cause-Effect reasoning, Assertion - Reason, Strengthen / Weaken the Argument, etc.

MAH CET 2021 Analysis: Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension
This section of MAH CET 2021 question paper Slot 2, had about 50 questions. There were 10 Reading Comprehension questions and 40 Verbal Ability questions. While in the second slot paper, the RC questions were less, they were challenging nonetheless.
The Verbal Ability section had questions on odd one out, fill in the blanks, antonyms, spelling, one word substitution, etc.

This section of the second slot paper of MAH CET 2021 has 60 questions in total. While in the first slot there were no Data Interpretation or Data Sufficiency questions, in the second slot, there were three questions on Data Interpretation and only one question on Data Sufficiency.

MAH CET 2021 Analysis: Abstract Reasoning & Logical Reasoning
Abstract Reasoning
Unlike Slot 1 in which there were 25 Abstract Reasoning questions, Slot 2 had only 10 questions based on series completion and paper folding. The questions of Abstract Reasoning section of MAH CET 201 Slot 2 were slightly tougher than previous years’ papers.
Logical Reasoning
In this section there were 70 questions on Non-Verbal Reasoning and 20 questions on Verbal Reasoning. The number of set-based questions was much lower than stand alone questions. There were five sets on Arrangement out of which three sets were based on matrix arrangement and two were on circular arrangement.
There was Sequential Output set with two questions and a Data Sufficiency set with one question. The standalone questions were from Directions, Linear Arrangement, Coding, Family Tree and Data Sufficiency.
In Verbal Reasoning, the questions were from Critical Reasoning, Syllogisms, Statement-Conclusion, Statement-Assumption, Statement-Assertion, Courses of Action and Situation-Response.

MAH CET 2021 Analysis: Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension
In this section of MAH CET 2021 analysis there were about 48 to 50 questions. There were 34 to 36 questions on Verbal Ability and 14 questions on Reading Comprehension. The number of passages was two – one was long and one was short. The longer passage had nine questions and the shorter passage had five questions.
The Verbal Ability section had questions on Parajumbles, Fill in the Blanks, Cloze Paragraph, Antonyms, Synonyms, Analogies and Spot the Error.

MAH CET 2021 Analysis: Quantitative Aptitude
As per the MAH CET 2021 analysis, this section of Slot 3 paper had 55 to 60 questions. Among the three slots, this one had the maximum number of Data Interpretation questions. There were six Data Interpretation questions in MAH CET 2021 Slot 3 with 24 questions. The questions were on variable Venn Diagram and Caselets. They were easy to calculate.
There were 35 questions on Quantitative Aptitude. In Slot 3 too, Arithmetic dominated this section. There were about 27 questions and sub topics included Averages, Profit & Loss, Time-Speed-Distance. Other topics included, Permutation & Combinations and Venn Diagram and Geometry.

MAH CET 2021 Analysis: Abstract Reasoning & Logical Reasoning
Abstract Reasoning
This section of MAH CET 2021 paper, there were 25 questions on Abstract Reasoning. The questions were based on Series Completion (11 questions) Odd Man Out (10) and Analogies (3). Like Slot 1 and 2, Slot 3 also had one question on paper cutting. Overall, the Abstract Reasoning section of MAH CET 2021 Slot 3 was easy.

The Verbal Reasoning questions were from Syllogisms, Statement Assumptions, and Courses of Action.
