MAH-MBA/MMS-CET 2016 eligibility & test centres

MAH CET 2016 exam dates for admission to MBA/MMS programmes have been declared. The exam is expected to be held on March 12 and 13, 2016 from 10 am to 2 pm.

Known as MAH-MBA/MMS-CET, Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MAH-CET) is a computer-based management entrance test. The exam is conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra. MAH-CET scores are used for admission to various management courses such as MMS, PGDBM and PGDM in various institutes in the state of Maharashtra.

MAH-MBA/MMS-CET 2016 Eligibility criteria

Eligibility criteria for MAH-CET 2016:

• Candidates must have a bachelors’ degree in any discipline from any recognised university with a minimum of 50% marks.
• Final year students can also apply.
• Candidates appearing for CAT / GMAT / CMAT /MAT February / XAT/ ATMA are considered to be eligible for admission against the All India Seats subject to the fulfilment of eligibility criteria. Such candidates need to fill online application form according to the schedule.

MAH-MBA/MMS-CET 2016 test centres

MAH CET 2016 will be held at various centres across the state of Maharashtra. Some of the top cities where the exam is expected to be held are: Mumbai, Pune, Nashik, etc.

MAH-CET exam consists of multiple choice objective type questions.  It has two sections:

• Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension
• Quantitative Aptitude and Logical / Abstract Reasoning.

Candidates need to attempt 200 questions to be attempted in two and a half hours (150 minutes). There’s no negative marks for incorrect answers.

The exam result will be declared on March 29, 2016 at 5pm.
