The national-level management entrance examination, MAT 2016 will be conducted by All India Management Association (AIMA). MAT 2016 February and MAT 2016 May are over. Next to follow is MAT 2016 September. The scores of the exam will be used by 600 B-schools for admission to various MBA, PGDM and allied management programmes.
MAT is divided into two exams a paper-based test and a computer-based test and is held four times a year- February, May, September and December. MAT 2016's May exams were held on May 1 and 7. The next set of exams are scheduled on September 4 (pen and paper) and September 10 (computer-based). The candidates have the flexibility to choose their preferred mode of exam.

MAT 2016 May paper-based exam was held on May 1, 2016 and computer-based exam was conducted on May 7, 2016.
Candidates appearing for the exam must ensure that they carry the admit cards along with them to the exam hall.
The admit card will be provided only to those candidates who successfully register for the exam. Candidates filling in the registration form must keep in mind the eligibility criteria. Application of those candidates might be rejected who fail to comply by the eligibility criteria.

Here is the eligibility criteria for MAT 2016:
- Aspirants who have completed their graduation or are in their final year of graduation can appear for the exam. It is to be noted that graduation must be done from a recognised institute/ university.
- The graduation degree of any discipline is acceptable.
- There is no age limit to appear in the exam.
- There is no requirement of work experience.
