MAT 2016 Feb eligibility

MAT 2016, the national-level management entrance examination, conducted by All India Management Association (AIMA) will be held four times this year. The first to follow is MAT February 2016. The scores of the exam are used by more than 600 B-schools for admission to various MBA, PGDM and allied management programmes.

The exam will be conducted in two modes:

  • Paper-based
  • Computer-based

The paper-based exam is scheduled for February 7, 2016, and the computer-based exam will be held from February 13 onwards (10.00am-12.30pm).

Before applying for the exam, candidates must ensure that they fulfill the eligibility criteria. Failing to do so, might lead to rejection of application form. 

Shiksha lists down the eligibility criteria for MAT 2016 February.

  • Candidates who are graduates or are in their last year of graduation are eligible for the exam. Candidates must note that it is important for the university or institute to be a recognised one.
  • There is no age limit.
  • Candidates applying for MAT 2016 Feb should have secured at least 45% marks in qualifying exam, having English as major subject.
  • Candidates belonging to reserved categories (SC/ ST etc.) should have secured at least 40% marks in qualifying exam, having English as major subject.
